Cotton Candy Hair
A special event held at Heaven Nightclub in Adelaide called CLIQUE was an amazing candy affair. It was a special VIP/invite only event focussed around fashion, and networking. The Sunday night launch was headed by special guest Alexandra Richards (Keith Richards Daughter/International supermodel). Rocktan Hair was involved with doing the Cotton Candy hair for the models. It was a great night with great hair.
Sydney Hair Expo
Sydney Hair Expo was held over the long weekend at the Sydney Convention Centre. A wonderful event held over three days filled with shows, exhibitions, gala events and productions hair shows. A must for all hair stylists wanting to keep up with current trends and ideas in the hair industry. The Rocktan Hair Salon Adelaide spent an amazing three days learning and exploring all the new concepts.
A special guest artist from the UK was Anthony Mascolo. Anthony and his team put on an amazing show with all the creative style mixed with some fun and colour. Here is just a few of the Rocktan Hair Salon Adelaide pictures.

These are some of the entries and models for the 2011 South Australian Hair Competitions. The competitions were held in Adelaide at the Hilton Hotel.

Matrix World Tour
The Matrix World Tour Asia Pacific 2011 was held in Bali, Indonesia. It was an fantastic event with over 1200 hairstylists attending from all over the region. With a combination of hair make overs, new cutting and colouring techniques, as well as hair seminars and fashion shows. The work was amazing and very inspirational. The Matrix International Global Hair Design Team consisted of Celebrity stylists Errol Douglas and Derrick Rutherford who have both appeared on numerous shows including Derrick’s make over show on Oprah. The Global Design Team also included Joe Muro and Karrie Fonte who gave exceptional seminars and presentations.
Overall is was a wonderful experience and well supported by Matrix and the fabulous Balinese people.

Clipsal 500 Beach Parade

At the Adelaide Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar race there is all the excitement of the cars and the event but you cant forget about the Bikini Beach Fashion Parade and the beautiful Fox girls.
This year the swimwear paraded was Stepanka with their Angelica Diabolica range. The swimsuits were stunning and superbly paraded by the Fox models. The Fox girls hair was done by Rocktan Hair of course with make up done by Vani-T. Adidas provided the Sportswear which the models displayed along with the sporting theme. The spectacular Dancers were from the Adelaide 36′ers, and Choreographed by Carmel Margaritis. The gorgeous and talented singer was Lesley Williams with music mixed by DJ Dylan Manov. Also a job well done to Andrea Purcell for the parade choreography.
