Rocktan Hairdressers Adelaide were invited by Fox Models to do the hair for the Clipsal 500 Beach Fashion Parade. It was a great show which kept the enthusiastic crowed entertained throughout the day. The models paraded swimwear provided by Lisa Kelly. The girls displayed the beautiful swimwear showing the different variety of colours and designs. Each girl made their way down the runway twice, with their second runway incorporating a nationality theme with add on costumes and matching music.
Rocktan Hairdressers Adelaide created several different styles on the girls hair. Being beachwear we wanted to keep it down and flowy. It was generally loose and teased with some braids across the front and back. The top of the hair was kept tight and as it went down it had more flow and body.

BU Fashion Parade 2009
The 2009 BU Fashion Parade. These photos show the Rocktan Hair girls working on all the models hair. The girls needed to really work their magic with the models having extermly long hair. In the end all the upstyles looked great. Some of the hair upstyles resemble Wedding Hair styles. For the fashion parade the hair needed to be a little exotic but still may be suitable for wedding hair.

Miss World Australia
Tanya was selected as one of the “Top 20” Young Hair Designers from across the country to dress the hair of the “Top 20” Miss World Australia (“MWA”) Finalists.
Tanya’s Miss World Australia contestant was dressed in a designer gown created by one of Australia’s top designers and Tanya’s challenge was to style and dress the hair of her contestant to create a “total look” which captures the glamour and elegance worthy of the title “MISS WORLD 2009”.
We are very pleased to announce that Tanya won the event and the title of “Miss World Australia Young Hair Designer 2009” – a fantastic win and very worthy recipient. In addition, she collected several coveted prizes including an all expenses paid holiday to the Gold Coast. Tanya’s expertise lies in bridal hair and upstyles and she is a highly regarded trainer in her field.
